WHO I AM

"Original Macaroon performer actor", I define myself as a multifaceted artist. Mime, Poet, Painter ... My passion for masks, the Commedia dell'arte and Drama drove me to Literature in search of my own "Meaning of Farce."

Studied Art and Literature at the Central University of Venezuela where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree. Gained considerable experience in various mediums as an actor, set designer and artistic director. Parallel to his growing love for painting, he formed part of the groups Telurium Teatro, Art-O d CCs and Tiempo Comun, with whom he performed street theater and participated in national and international festivals for over a decade. Continued his studies in theater, mime and movement in France with Jacque LECOQ, where he awakened his passion for the Commedia dell'arte and the Masquerade. In 2000 he founded his own Bouffon Company with whom he made the pilgrimage back to the Americas, offering presentations, workshops and days of pure entertainment. Currently he's surviving in Washington, D.C. where he dedicates his time to giving classes in schools and centers of children's creativity. He continues to participate in festivals, throwing parties and hosting special events with his repertory.
